Retail Sales Associates

Its major empowerment programs, The Clothes Silo and Hand to Hand Project, are currently looking for Retail Sales Associates to serve its clients and customers. The programs are located in central Phoenix on 7th Street just south of Indian School.

These entry-level, part time positions are great for college students and parents with kids in school.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you are vital to our success. We offer ongoing training, as well as an opportunity to work with highly skilled volunteers and staff.

Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities:
*Shifts may vary during the week store hours: Tuesdays through Saturdays, 9:30 am to 2:30 pm
*Greeting every customer and client with enthusiasm and energy
*Providing excellent customer service to our clients and customers
*Acting as a personal shopper for our clients in a friendly, confident and knowledgeable manner
*Accurately Receiving and processing inventory
Requirements

Retail Sales Associate Qualifications
*Available Tuesday – Saturday 9:30 am to 2:30 pm your shift may vary by day, but not by time.
*Have transportation available, bus and light rail are close to WHEAT
*Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Retail sales experience helpful, but not required
*Must be able to stand for long periods of time, some very light lifting and carrying.

Tamera Zivic, Ph.D.
Executive Director

Tamera Zivic, Ph.D., Executive Director of WHEAT, was born and raised in Arizona and is a summa cum laude graduate of Arizona State University with a PhD in Counseling Psychology. She also has graduate degrees in Business Administration and Pastoral Ministry.

Tamera has devoted her life to the empowerment of others through social service agencies and faith-based organizations. Serving on the DES Hunger Advisory Council, the Arizona Ecumenical Council's (AEC) Public Policy Commission and as the Global Concerns chair for the Arizona statewide Board of Church Women United are just some of the many ways that Dr. Zivic continues to be a voice for those who sometimes go unheard! Tamera also sits on the National Board of Bread for the World and the United Nations Hunger Committee, well-known for its World Food Day activities.

Her energetic and enthusiastic vision for WHEAT includes powerful advocacy and creative educational efforts in the fight against hunger within the religious and secular communities.

Jody Fulmer CPA
WHEAT Director of Finance

Jody is a full-time CPA at an International Accounting Firm, and loves to also work with WHEAT by doing what comes easily...she enjoys being a part of an organization that believes in the good stewardship of its talents and treasures

Cynthia Mudd
Outreach Coordinator

Cynthia Mudd began volunteering with WHEAT in 2001 and joined the staff in 2008 as the program coordinator. Cynthia is now serving as the outreach coordinator, working to enhance the mission of WHEAT within the community. We enjoy it when Cynthia's young son joins us at WHEAT, continuing the tradition of ending hunger with the youngest among us.
